Personally, I found the mosquito net draped over the bed to be a slight inconvenience. However, I understand that some guests might appreciate the added protection and find it charming.

Spent Christmas at a hotel in Vilanculos. The food was amazing and we had a great view from our room. The room was super clean and the staff were friendly. The beach was beautiful and we had a great time snorkeling.

the room was too small for a family of four. The hotel was far from the main market and it was difficult to find local restaurants.

Spent New Year's Eve at this resort and had an amazing experience! the room was very spacious and had a stunning view of the ocean. the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile and providing excellent service. We enjoyed the organized boat trip to the nearby island, the boat was top-notch and so was the crew. the absolute best part? the food! From breakfast to dinner, everything tasted fresh and delicious.

The gym's air conditioning could use some improvement, especially for those planning on doing intense cardio. there was not much to do nearby outside of the hotel, so it was mostly a secluded experience.

We had the most amazing honeymoon at Bahia Mar. The sea view room gave us beautiful sunrises and the staff, especially Paolo, were super friendly. The restaurant had delicious seafood and we loved having breakfast overlooking the ocean. The snorkeling day trip was a must and the highlight of our stay. Bahia Mar is perfect for couples and we can't wait to come back!
